Different, thats for sure (10 March 2010)
A first experience of Folk, I guess, for many people due to the airtime these guys are getting. This is also true for me, and I liked what I heard so got the album. Highlights for me though are the singles, and having played this album a few times now some of the songs, and the singing is starting to 'grate' a little, and starting to sound a bit 'samey'.
I also think this band is riding the wave of success created by Fleet Foxes last year. I had similar issues with them, in that I enjoyed the songs played on the radio, but the album soon lost its appeal.

This is very different though to the usual stuff you hear on the radio, good on them to getting the airplay. And I would suggest buying this if you are ready to push your musical bounderies somewhat.

Sigh No More - Mumford and Sons - Great Album! (07 March 2010)
I love the songs on this album. The band's passion for music shines through sincerly, and I can imagine that Mumford & Sons create an amazing atmosphere live. Excellent xx

Mumford & Sons - Sign no more (07 March 2010)
Arrived in good order and quickly so thank you - just didn't enjoy the music as much as I thought I would! - probably need to force myself to give it a few more plays perhaps!

Go out and buy this one! (04 March 2010)
This truly is a fantastic album. Almost all the songs are worth listening to. I play this album over and over again. It is very different to anything else I have ever heard. These guys can really do harmonies! Go out and buy this one and I just hope another one comes out as good.

  sparkling debut (03 March 2010)
