  Midlife Crisis? (30 August 2008)
Midlife crisis?...OK maybe that's unfair. Heartbreak can happen at any age and although painful has been the inspiration and driving force of some of the most powerful music and art out there, some real classics - Unfortunately this isn't one of them.
'Eat me' is at an ill conceived, badly performed, badly recorded, dull yawn-fest of self indulgence bordering on the juvenile.
The persecution complex exhibited on this album is embarrassing from someone supposedly so intelligent.
Maybe Manson had to get all this out his system, but did he have to inflict it on us?

Manson 'Pop'! Has the 'real' Marilyn bubble burst? (09 July 2008)
As you'll have gathered a mixed review - if you like the heavy, 'rolling riff' stuff (mobscene etc) chances are you won't like this. It's the cathartic result of manson's recent and well publicised split with Dita - but it it any good? Hmmmm, it's a touch patchy between not great but even worse a bit dull. Surprising that in the light of such emotional upheaval it sounds so uninspired in places. It'll need a second play and, though there are one or two tracks which shine ('you and me and the devil makes three' is probably the best), after droping the select few to your ipod it could be a while till the other tracks get a spin. Of course, artists are free to do what they want and I still like his music, I just prefer the other stuff he does....

Different, yet good (17 March 2008)
If you are in to the normal heavy gothic metal you hear from manson then this isnt for you, it is a totally new style of music from him, yet has somne amazing rock songs in it - look out for "Heart Shaped Glasses" and "They said that Hells not hot"

Don't judge it too quickly (22 January 2008)
Quite frankly one of the best albums of all time. Yes it takes a bit of listening too, to get into it. But once you do, it's deep, heartfelt, genuine and every track sounds and feels fantastic. Just don't judge it too quickly, allow this masterpiece to slowly present it's self. You won't be disapointed.

Different but still good (11 December 2007)
Manson has evolved and it is not to everyones liking. This is nothing like American Family or even Antichrist. He has developed a more polished and mainstream musical style but it is still Manson. If you liked Holywood you should enjoy this album. If like me you have grown with Manson's music from the early days you cannot help but consider this commercialaisation of a unique artist, but I have still enjoyed listening to this album.
