| ![]() | Customer Reviews:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() same old same old (20 August 2008)OK. A host of classics re spun and rearranged into 3 CD's. Nothing really new here but ok to play at home pre party. I'm sure it will sell well but just another commercial album. The new club scene will probably go for this one but not cutting edge enough for me. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Something Slightly Different (09 August 2008)I always find compilations hit and miss because usually for every great song that's on there there's some equally bad or boring ones mixed in. What I find great about this album is that this doesn't (for once) seem to be the case. Great songs delivered one after another in consistent succession, CD3 in particular is brilliant for driving to if you're that sort of person. The mixing is also quite impressive, this is the first Dave Pearce album I've bought but has led me to be more interested in his others. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Greatest Trance Compilation Ever (26 July 2008)My collection of Trance music contains more than a dozen albums but this is by far the best I have ever had the privelage of owning. Each disc on this 3 CD album is packed full of great tunes that you can listen to over and over and if I was to recommend any Trance music album to anyone there wouldn't be anything else except this. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Classic trance with some new tunes as well. (23 July 2008)Dave Pearce has deservedly gained a fantastic reputation in the trance scene, for his BBC Radio 1 work, and his unparallelled abilities in mixing and DJing this genre of music. Once again, Pearce proves that the classic trance tunes of the nineties and noughties can be blended seamlessly with the modern beats coming out of the scene in 2008. Some of the tunes on this box set are going to be known by anyone of any age - Sandstorm, Close Cover, Resurrection - whilst other tunes, fresh off the press in 2008, are going to make sure that Trance is here to stay well into the future. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Decade old tunes recycled - Where's the creativity? (18 June 2008)To put it simply, I was listening to some of these tunes on each CD over 10 years ago. Very disappointed. |
