Customer Reviews:

the best yet (02 September 2008)
His best album to date (I've ordered the new live album - if it's anything like this & his perforamnce at Hyde Park it'll be incredible). Every song is superb - although "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" has to be the best song in the past year (& is also on the new live DVD/CD!). His music is hypnotic, classy, equisitely crafted. Enough! Buy!

  Simply Fantastic (24 April 2008)
My friend played me Room For Squares one day and after that I was truelly smitten with this artist!!
I cannot get enough of his bluesy notes and can honestly say there is not a single track on any of his albums that I do not like. His style suits all moods and his lyrics draws you in to your imagination and allows you to shut out the world and dream!! Brilliant as always. if you have'nt already heard this man play then do yourself a favour, buy this album and while you're at it, buy the rest of them too!!

Blues has found a new guitar hero (02 January 2008)
I bought this after seeing Youtube clips of him covering Jimi Hendrix's "Bold As Love", and the album does not disappoint. In Mayer we have a talented singer-songwriter whose guitar work also draws from a rich well of influences - from the obvious Hendrix, through Stevie Ray, Clapton, and BB King, while not aping them note-for-note. Gravity is a standout!
