  Absolutely beautiful (21 October 2008)
[[ASINB000LXISE6 Awake]]. I fell in love with Josh Grobans voice when I first heard him in Ally McBeal, years ago. His haunting voice made me stop in my tracks and I never forgot his voice. Years later he has just got better. This album is a lovely mix of classical and modern songs, and is best listened to at full volume so that you can sing along! This is the first album of his that I have bought, but guess whats on my xmas list!

  brilliant album (10 September 2008)
I saw him sing with Charlotte Church and decided to buy an album. I have not been atall disappointed, it is brilliant. He has such a powerful, amazing voice I would highly recommend this album to anyone.

  One of my fave's! (25 August 2008)
I've had this some time now. It's one of my favourites. Different styles and a good long album, aside from a couple of dud tracks I'd heartily recommend it, good to see it's selling well again.

  Blissful discovery (21 August 2008)
I'd never heard of Josh Groban until I saw him perform "You Raise Me Up" on the program Any Dream Will Do last year. I remember when they announced it thinking who is this nobody they've got performing this? Then I heard his voice - WOW! I was completely blown away. I immediately looked him up on wikipedia and my husband bought 'Awake' for my birthday. Its a fantastic album, I love it. I like that it contains different styles of music because I find that whenever I play it there is something that particularly speaks to me. Over time, songs that I didn't really notice have leapt out at me. I find it interesting that other reviewers (particularly existing fans) have disliked the african inspired tracks as I love these - especially weeping. Rather than put me off as a new fan they attracted me. Also, I saw Josh Groban perform in Chess in Concert this year and he was incredible. I can't wait for the DVD next year.

  Sheer Class (09 December 2007)
Josh Groban's voice is in a league of its own - the best non-operatic singer around! The album is superb and the David Foster production is out of this world! If you think you don't like classical music, listen to 'Un giorno per noi'. Surely this most be the most beautiful piece of music ever. I could listen to it all day, every day. The man is sheer class!
