  101 ( yes 101 count them ) seasonal tunes (04 December 2008)
101 Christmas tunes is a collection 101 tunes which sun up the Christmas charts for the last 50 years. Can you have a favourite yes, are you going to like everything probably not but pop fans can buy knowing that this is going to offer variety and top tunes for the Christmas season.

The most INTERESTING xmas album-ever (26 November 2008)
Whist not having the usual suspects such as Slade,Shaky et all this is still a worthwhile buy. It is more a seasonal selection rather thanS specifically christmas stuff. Stop the cavalry is there(disc 1) tho id prefer it if it wasnt as after having a downstairs neighbour who used to blast it out at all hours im pig sick of it!! Theres some lovely 50s and 60s stuff (Alma Cogan and the divine Kay Starr, a whole heap of Nat King Cole and Dean Martin and almost a disc of real christmas songs. Even The Muppets turn up although the inclusion of The Seekers Morningtown Ride is baffling until played alongside the wintery feel of the other tracks. This is a really fine selection that merits the title The most interesting xmas album....Ever.Granny will love it as it will bring back many happy memories of her christmases past.Christmases where Simon Cowells karaoke acts didnt exist and kids were happy with an apple an orange and a nana.Truly wonderful.

  Don't waste your money (07 December 2007)
Bought this to add some Christmas cheer to the office... we ended up playing "spot the Christmas connection" !! Is a bit like those cheap LPs we used to buy that covered the latest pop records....

It's the most wonderful time of the year (26 November 2007)
Wonderful! I'm not a fan of the chessey Christmas stuff so that fact there's no slade is not a problem for me. If however you like to have seasonal music in the house to get you ready for the big day or to keep you company while doing the Christmas baking, then this is the one for you, play it loud and sing along or have it in the background when people are over, it's a winner. You even have a disc of carols for opening your pressies on Christmas morning.

Wheres the real versions (25 November 2007)
Eartha Kitt - Santa Baby - Aint here, we get miss piggy and kylie. No Pogues with Fairytale of New York. No Do they Know its Christmas. No Slade. How can you have a Xmas album without Slade. No Wham Last Xmas. Not even Stop the Cavalry by Jona Lewie. This is an awful collection, probably bought on the cheap by people that dont want to spend money on a decent collection.
